Navigating the Path from High School to College
Does your student have a helpful guidance counselor who supports your family’s vision for your student? Perhaps your student only meets with his counselor when it’s time to make his schedule. Does your student have a well-defined plan for high school? Maybe your student has plans for college but does not know what it takes to get there. This DIY Scholars Consulting workshop is designed to help you create a year-by-year plan for your student’s high school years.
Topics include: high school course selection (including AP®, IB® and dual enrollment options), standardized tests, requirements for applying to college, benefits of college tours, partnerships with guidance counselors, and much more. You will leave with a roadmap and timeline to get your student to college.
Target audience: Parents of students in grades 7 and up.
